Internship

The foreign student in academic mobility at UPM can choose to take a non-voluntary internship in Brazilian companies or a research internship at UPM.

In Brazil, the academic internship activity is regulated by law. Students can work in companies for 4 or 6 hours a day, receiving scholarship assistance and life insurance paid by the company.

In case of internship in research for undergraduate students, it is possible to apply for the activity indicating the period and the research theme, for identification of an advisor at UPM. In case of graduate students, the student and/or the origin university advisor, with the UPM advisor, organize the internship in research.
