Considering the technical and scientific advances on sciences such as Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Biology, Computing, Physics, Medical Sciences, among others, the Neurosciences have become a great hub for the interaction of those areas, harboring a favorable environment for the interdisciplinary understanding of complex phenomena.

One of the effects of this integration is the recent arise of areas such as Social and Affective Neuroscience. Studies and discoveries in this area are related to a range of aspects, from the physiological processes subjacent to emotions up to brain mechanisms that enable the ability that our species has of recognizing other peoples' emotions and responding adequately. Studies about morals, ethics and other aspects pertaining to philosophy, for instance, which are also important, have become part of the agenda in Neuroscience research.

Proper development during infancy creates the bases of a full adult life, equipped with a responsible and productive civil spirit. Two important axes of the promotion of child development are mental health and academic success, and the greater efficiency and cost-benefit of early intervention is undeniable. According to Economy Nobel laureate James Heckman, the investment on children, especially those from families under greater socio-economic vulnerability, generates significant returns for society.

In addition to that, innovative uses of technology result in achieving those results more efficiently and with more precision, with important repercussions in the identification of problems, priority groups, the definition and implementation of measures and high quality information for the outlining of public policies. The main targets of this project are: children's mental health in the State of São Paulo and the promotion of school success rates on elementary education in the State of São Paulo.

This project aims at fostering international research in the education of managers considering the existing new technologies that will certainly affect the business environment. Research conducted by the PPGs involved in this project have shown that business managers are very well technically trained and developed through the years in his competence of making decisions in a technical fashion.

Decision-making is a process inherent to the human being, including the manager, when it comes to a managing decision. Aspects of how to precisely define the issue, guide the generation of alternatives, analyze the existing alternatives and proceed to choosing the best alternative are fundamental for the manager in individual and group contexts.

Thus, it is crucial to understand organizational attention, mental representation, the use of heuristics, organizational learning and memory, businesses as communities, neurocognitive foundations of the individual decision-making process, allowing for the understanding of psychological biases, the construction of meaning and interpretation. Those are all fundamental aspects for managers in organizational environments.
