QS Latin America Rankings: Recognition of Improvement

Mackenzie Presbyterian University (MPU) is awarded under the category ‘QS Latin America Rankings: Recognition of Improvement’. The certificate of recognition was provided at the QS Higher Ed Summit: Americas 2022 on September 22, during the award ceremony.

The awards recognize higher education excellence in five categories: Recognition of Improvement, Research Excellence, Reputation Impact, New Entrants, Top 10. The QS Latin America Rankings: Recognition of Improvement certificate is awarded to institutions who have demonstrated significant improvement in this ranking, based on average rank improvement.

According to the QS Rankings Manager Drew MacFarlane: “To improve in a QS ranking means not only to improve against yourself, but to improve relative to the peers in the ranking. This involves your reputation, your research, and your ability to attract and retain international students and staff. All of this takes time, and this certificate is in recognition of your efforts to achieve this for your students."
