The purpose of the research groups is to foster synergistic efforts for the construction and sharing of knowledge around specific themes. They are made up of professors, researchers, students and technicians who gather around common topics of study by means of research tracks.

The purposes of the research groups include:

• Developing students’ research skills by means of participation in research projects led by the groups’ researchers.
