Last Tuesday, March 16, 2023, with the lecture “Escalab - Technology Escalation Center – a scaling and business modeling laboratory for connecting academia and industry in innovation”, given by Dr. Rochel Lago, the general seminars of the Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute for Research in Graphene and Nanotechnologies – MackGraphe were brilliantly reopened. In the lecture, Dr. Rochel Lago reported to researchers from APHE and the Escola de Engenharia Mackenzie, represented by its director, Prof. doctor Marcos Massi, examples of highly successful technology transfer and process scheduling obtained by Escalab - Technology Escalation Center and its coordination. The examples were emblematic, and served as a great inspiration to all those present, to pursue research projects and research careers oriented towards innovation and the market. The success of Escalab - Technology Escalation Center demonstrated the pertinence of the new MackGraphe RD&I policy, implemented by its general director, Prof. doctor Benedito G. Aguiar Neto, which is fully in line with the policy of Escalab - Technology Escalation Center. A partnership between Escalab - Centro de Escalamento de Tecnologias and MackGraphe is already under construction, so that both institutions can join efforts in their common interests of fostering Innovation in Brazil.
