MackGraphe signed a service agreement with the company Grupo Combustol & Metalpó.
This first meeting had the objective of promoting integration between the management and research teams of the two institutions. The meeting had 3 engineers from the company and 3 researchers from MackGraphe, in addition to the R&D and Project Managers. Technical information was exchanged and the first batch of metal samples with the inclusion of graphene was delivered to the researchers for the start of the work.
The study resulting from this partnership will provide the characterization of the properties of the graphene used to improve the properties of a specific metallic material used for the 3D printing of components, a study that is unprecedented in Brazil so far.
According to Metalpó's Director of Operations, Mr. Marcelo Lobo Peçanha, this is the beginning of many other R&D project partnerships with MackGraphe.
The meeting was a success, according to the Director of MackGraphe, Prof. Benedito G. Aguiar Neto and marks a new phase of numerous R&D projects that will be signed later this year, 2023.
