The Center presents the Index of State Economic Freedom to the Secretary of Development of Espírito Santo

On January 26, 2021, the Mackenzie Center for Economic Freedom team met with the Secretariat for Development of Espírito Santo - SEDES.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Marcos Kneip Navarro, Secretary of the portfolio holder, Mr. Gabriel Feitosa, Under Secretary of State for Investment and International Business Attraction, Ms. Gabriela Vichi Manager of the Business Environment Observatory, the Representative of the State Program of Bureaucratization of the Business Environment (Simplifica-ES), Prof. Vladimir Fernandes Maciel, Coordinator of the Center, Prof. Julian Portillo, Researcher at the Center and Mr. Allan Antonio, Operations Analyst at the Center.

At the invitation of the, Secretary of Development, the Coordinator of the Center, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Maciel presented the Mackenzie Index of State Economic Freedom and its methodology. On the occasion, the index methodology was also presented and the main points necessary for the improvement of the State in the general ranking were pointed out.
