The Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering is administratively linked to two Academic Units of Mackenzie Presbyterian University (UPM): The School of Engineering (EE) and the School of Computing and Informatics (FCI). The Program Coordination alternates between faculty members from each of the units. After hearing the University's Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies and the Vice-Chancellor, the Coordinator is appointed by the unit's Director. The coordination in the 2017-2020 quadrennium is under the responsibility of FCI, and Prof. Leandro Augusto da Silva has been appointed for the period. By regiment, UPM does not have the role of a Vice-Coordinator. However, Professor Lucia Akemi Miyazato Saito has played an occasional substitute as a representative faculty from the School of Engineering during the present quadrennium.
